I joined Summit a few months ago and I am happy to say that everything that was promised to me, has been delivered. I feel empowered and trusted to do my job. Everyone works hard and we prioritise great work for our customers rather than just trying to drive sales and turnover for the business. Joining Summit has massively benefitted my work/life balance, and I enjoy being able to spend more time with my family and switch off after a good day’s work.

At Summit, we work hard while having a laugh. As a team we focus on doing quality work and being reliable, which is rare in our industry. The atmosphere is relaxed yet organised, which makes it easier for us to do our jobs well for our customers.

Matt and Milly cater for people’s needs, whatever that may be, based on your career aspirations and work life balance. The guys work well as a team, we get in and get it done, even on the tough jobs. Matt and Milly appreciate that everyone has a life outside of work and they don’t force you to do overtime or work outside of your scope. Best of all, the fridge at the shed is always stocked with my Coopers Greens!

My favourite part about Summit is the fact we get regular team days and pub lunches. Most months, we finish early on a Friday and get taken for lunch and beers to say thank you for the work we are doing. The job is challenging, but rewarding and I definitely feel appreciated. I look and feel professional when I arrive on site and I am treated and recognised as a legitimate tradesperson.

Summit definitely stands out vs the other companies I've worked for. Matt and Milly care about the people who work here and we are rewarded for our efforts. I regularly get recognition for the great work I do from Matt and the rest of the team. Our Google reviews also show that we deliver great, reliable service to our clients and that they are at the centre of everything we do.

The crew all get along, it doesn’t feel like anyone is above anyone else. We always know in advance where we are going to be and when there is a big day coming up so we can prepare.  It’s the kind of job where you wake up in the morning and you want to go to work because you know there is a great team to work with  Matt is really understanding of the guys in the tools. I feel supported and I know that if I am asked to do a job I haven’t done before, I get shown how to do it and supported along the way.
